Overview
The Hood family is headed for disaster on Thanksgiving weekend, 1973. Husband and father Ben struggles with work and alcohol issues, while wife Elena, sick of his dishonesty, peruses self-help books. Paul, their son, is in love with a wealthy girl he knows from school and is way out of his league. Daughter Wendy chases promiscuity and liquor around the neighborhood while checking out the neighbors' lingerie collections. Everything comes to a head during a severe ice storm.
