Overview
David Herdeg and Jim Parker are sailors aboard the USS Eldridge, which is docked in Philadelphia Harbor in midst of World War II. A scientist, Dr. James Longstreet, is using the Eldridge as a guinea pig in a project that could hide ships from radar detection. However one of the tests goes out of control, resulting in dire consequences for the crew aboard the Eldridge. Herdeg and Parker are thrown into a time tunnel as the try to abandon ship and are thrown into the year 1984. They, along with inadvertent hostage Allison, struggle to find their way back to their time, but soon discover that the results of the experiment threaten now only their past but also the future of all mankind.
