Overview
Jack, a novelist, takes a job as a caretaker of an old hotel in the mountains of Colorado and takes his wife and son. His son Danny soon starts having visions of the horrible events that have happened there in the past. Jack is then influenced by the spirits and becomes insane and violent against his own family. Danny must use his newly discovered telepathic gifts in order to save himself and his mother from his father's homicidal tendencies.
