Trailer | Overview Daniel Hackett is a young boy in the early 1900s who is given the unwanted challenge of protecting his family farm from greedy businessmen. Daniel wants to leave his home of Paradise Valley behind for New York City. But his father entrusts him with the deed to the homestead when he is shot and incapacitated by rival land owner J.P. Stiles. Unwilling to fight, Daniel retreats to a nearby lake and falls asleep. While dreaming Daniel is once again confronted by Stiles, but this time he is helped by legendary literary heroes Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan and John Henry, who teach Daniel the importance of facing his troubles head on instead of running away. |
