Overview
This adaptation of George Orwell's celebrated novel brings to life his vision of a dystopic London in which totalitarian rule has oppressed the masses into a mindless proletariat. Winston Smith is a government employee who's job it is to rewrite history as it suits the agenda of the ruling class. Several chance events lead Winston to moments of clarity wherein he becomes aware of the nefarious state of affairs, and he subsequently attempts to free himself of the stifling environment.
