Shortly after the Rodney King verdict, veteran detective Eldon Perry is assigned to investigate the murder of four people associated with a robbery. An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department and its highly trained Special Investigations Squad (SIS), Perry exposes the SIS rookie Bobby Keough to the brutal realities of bad cops - intimidation, corruption, and worse. While negotiating their way through the neighborhoods of South Central LA, the two SIS officers must pursue cold-blooded killers while also dealing with demons of their own making. These may prove more dangerous and tragic than the criminals they are tracking. In the end, Keough is murdered by other police officers Orchard and Sidwell, but Perry finds redemption for the people he killed while a corrupt cop. |
