In Duplex, Alex and Nancy, a young couple, consider how far they will go to get their dream home. They are a loving couple, happy with their life together and successful at work. But finding their perfect Manhattan home has been a challenge. When they stumble onto a lovely old duplex, they move into the unit downstairs. Everything seems great until they realize one big problem: their upstairs neighbor. She's an elderly woman who makes their lives difficult, and because she lives in the apartment in a rent-controlled lease, she is not going anywhere. This dark comedy goes dark when the couple wonder if they should take matters into their own hands. |
