Overview
Amber Atkins is a down-home, trailer-raised, tap-dancing cutie with aspirations of being a beauty queen! When the pageant rolls around, she’s pitted against the Becky Ann Leeman – the daughter of the richest woman in town; a woman who will do absolutely anything to live vicariously through her little princess. Hilarious interviews and talents follow with the other pageant contestants, and then tragedy strikes as each beauty begins to die off in mysterious ways, clearing a path for Amber and Becky. A black comedy that highlights the satire of being a hopeful beauty queen in Mount Rose, Minnesota, the after-effects of the pageant interviews follow the contestants their separate ways. The battle between Amber’s southern-fried, kind-hearted attitude and Becky’s ruthless, rich-witch demeanor is bound to get vicious.
