Molly Gilmore is happily married to a doctor while Frank Raftis is a devoted husband and father. The two meet innocently when they bump into each other while Christmas shopping. They recognize each other months later while riding on the train to New York City. They begin a casual conversation that grows into a friendship as they continue to see each other. As Molly and Frank become closer, they realize that they are starting to fall in love. However, both are happy in their marriages and don't want to ruin their lives by having an affair. Their relationship remains platonic, but that fact doesn't soften the blow when the two share their feelings for each other with their respective spouses. |
