Overview
Three different stories find their center in New York. In the first, a painter named Lionel struggles to find his muse. His former girlfriend, who still lives with him, refuses to get back together, but he discovers how much needs even an unhealthy relationship in order to paint. In the second, a rich girl named Zoe discovers that a jewel owned by her father really belongs to an Arab princess. She returns it, and in the process, tries to reconcile her parents’ marriage. The third story involves Sheldon, a man with a hyper-critical mother he wishes would disappear. One day at a magic show, he gets his wish, only to find that although his mother is no longer physically present, she still remains with him.
