Overview
Alex Gardner has unique psychic abilities, which he uses to support a lifestyle of gambling and womanizing. After running into trouble with local gangster, Snead, Alex finds sanctuary with academic researchers Babcock and Finch. Alex discovers that Dr. Paul is also involved in a secret government project about mind linking during the dreaming state. Alex is tricked into participating in the project, which turns out to be more sinister than initially represented. Alex becomes adept at entering the dreams of others and doing as he pleases. To his dismay he realizes he is being trained to be a deadly assassin. When a psychopath in the program is sent to kill the President, Alex must use his mind linking skill to stop the plot from succeeding.
