Overview
While studying Halley's Comet, the crew of the shuttle Churchill discover an alien ship containing dead bat-like creatures and three preserved bodies of what appear to be a woman and two men. Soon after, Churchill halts communication and rescuers dispatched to it find the humanoid bodies intact, but the crew dead, the shuttle gutted by fire and an escape pod missing. Col. Tom Carlsen is found on Earth in the escape pod, but not before scientists in London awaken the humanoids who are space vampires that drain lifeforce from humans and turn them into zombies that do the same. Carlsen agrees to help stop the menace before it destroys humanity, but he hasn't told his allies the entire story about what happened on the Churchill...
