Overview
Hapless and helpless, caveman Atouk finds himself banished from his tribe after he tries to pursue Lana, mate of the tribal bully, Tonda. Atouk and his best friend Lar must find a way to survive on their own, although neither has the first clue how to do that. Their misadventures find them facing dinosaurs, abominable snowmen and assorted other dangers. As they learn to cope, discovering fire, cooking, music and the enticing effects of sedative drugs, Atouk and Lar also gather a tribe of sorts from other outcast misfits, including the lovely Tala and the blind Gog. Confident in their newfound skills, Atouk and Lar lead a rebellion against Tonda and their former tribe in an effort to establish themselves as the dominant men in the land.
