The bumbling Inspector Clouseau is sent to investigate a string of murders. It seems obvious to everyone for miles around that a maid by the name of Maria Gambrelli is the murderer, but the inspector has a crush on her, and he can't believe that she could actually be capable of something so horrible. Hoping to find the real killer, he has Maria released from prison and decides to follow her, but his clumsiness makes stealth a difficult prospect for him. Meanwhile, people continue to turn up dead, and the inspector's boss, Charles Dreyfuss, becomes increasingly enrages, as he sees everything that goes wrong as Clouseau's fault. Of course, the clumsy detective is totally unaware of this, and he follows the trail as chaos ensues. |
