Ann Lord is a mother of two daughters who is on her deathbed. Her girls are at her side, but they are befuddled by the fact that she called out for someone named Harris. Neither of them has ever heard that name before. While they try to puzzle it out, Ann returns in her mind to a time half a century before when she met Harris, who would be the one true love of her life. Her life is coming to a close now, but its lessons can have a profound impact on her daughters if she can just convey them properly.
