Overview
Life has a funny way of upsetting even the best laid plans. Judith gave up her future medical career to marry another doctor and become a housewife. Years later, her life goes up in smoke when her husband leaves her to be with another doctor and she lives all alone in her luxury apartment, lost and depressed. Pat, the janitor and elevator lift-boy hasn't exactly had an easy life either. His gambling addiction ruined most of his life, and the loss of his daughter crushed him entirely. A chance meeting leads to something else entirely, and two people so close to giving up start to wonder if there is not some hope to life after all.
