Overview
After the drug related death of her sister, Raya is forced to drop out of private school and move back to the inner city. Raya is not only smart, she is also a talented dancer, and when she discovers the step dancing contest has a grand prize of $50,000, she finds a way to join the local step dance team. The only girl in the group, she has trouble relating to not only the guys in the group, but the girls in the neighborhood who don't understand what she is doing on the team. After being kicked off the team, Raya must find a way back in or start her own group and go for it on her own.
