Overview
Emory Leeson (Moore) has a problem. He is an ad man who is sick of lying to people about the products he is promoting. Such honesty includes a promotion to travel to Greece because French people are annoying and people in Greece are nicer. As a result, Leeson's partner at work (Reiser) checks him into a mental institute so that he can get his head straight, telling his secretary to take the ads off of his desk and get them out the door. The result is that the honest ads go to print, sales skyrocket, and a new wave in advertising may just be taking effect.
