Overview
Nick Beam is at the end of his rope. He has just learned several things about his life that are utterly devastating to him, and he isn't sure how he can go on. It is in this state of mind that a carjacker named T. Paul tries to rob him, and just because Nick is so miserable and unstable, he decides to turn the tables. After all, what does he have to lose? Nick decides to kidnap T. Paul, and the two of them forge a peculiar friendship as Nick uses his hostage as leverage to try to repair his life. Many zany hijinks follow; both men have a lot to learn about themselves from each other as they embark on an epic road trip.
