Overview
Connor MacLeod must battle an old enemy, an Immortal named Kane, who has been entombed under a mountain in Japan for several centuries. Kane killed Japanese master of illusion, Nikano, who was MacLeod's friend and also an Immortal. In 1994, Kane is released from beneath the mountain and MacLeod must fight him. Kane threatens MacLeod's family, including kidnapping his adopted son. He also violates the ban on fighting on Holy Ground, which costs MacLeod his sword. After the Highlander defeats Kane, MacLeod returns to Scotland with his son and new wife, Alexandra, an archaeologist, believing once again that the Gathering is over.
