The secret lives of circus performers are exposed as an extravaganza makes its way across the country. Headed by ringmaster Brad Braden, it features all manner of talented performers, and one of the most talented is Brad's girlfriend Holly, who is a trapeze artist. When Brad attempts to bring in bigger audiences with another trapeze artist called The Great Sebastian, a bitter rivalry develops between him and Holly, but it might just blossom into romance. Meanwhile, all of the other performers have lives of their own, and one of the most interesting is Buttons the Clown. As one of the most beloved members of the circus, he's a kind man who seems incapable of malice, but he holds a dark secret that could destroy him. |
