Overview
Five young men in their early twenties have been friends since their early childhood in Baltimore. They hang out at the Fells Point Diner which has been the center of their lives growing up. The most responsible of the bunch, Shrevie is called upon to give advice on marriage to Eddie who is planning on getting married on New Years Eve. This is ironic since Shrevie's own marriage is on the verge of falling apart. Billy and Fen have opposite views on approaching life. Billy and Modell are also opposites, with Billy being an adventurous player and Modell being insecure and timid. With 1960 approaching, they all have to face being adults and saying goodbye to their childhood.
