Overview
The film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" features Hugh Jackman once again using his skills as the popular comic book hero. As a boy, James flees his Canadian home with Victor Creed. Decades later, they sign up with Major Stryker and his mutant soldiers. Although Creed fits in with the bloodthirsty group, James chooses a secluded life in Canada with his girlfriend Kayla. After she's seemingly killed by Creed, Stryker offers James a new path as the government-sanctioned killer Wolverine. The painful transformation process maddens Wolverine and he turns against the officer. He escapes the facility and pursues Creed with the help of some fellow mutants. Soon the clawed hero confronts his former teammates like Deadpool. His actions help free the students who then become the X-Men.
