Overview
An astronaut named Brent has gone in search of his friend Taylor. He crashes on what he believes to be another planet, but it’s actually a future earth. Taylor had landed there before and discovered an earth now ruled by apes. Brent is shocked to discover that humans are subservient, but he is still determined to find Taylor. His quest leads him to Nova, Taylor’s girlfriend, and they set off to find him. He’s been taken captive by an underground race of mutant humans who worship a nuclear bomb. Brent lets the underground humans know that the apes are coming to try to overthrow them. A fight ensues in which the humans from the past try desperately to avert a nuclear disaster.
