Overview
In "Beetle Juice," the title character is a peculiar ghoul who has gotten himself into a heap of trouble with the afterlife authorities. While he is not the central character, he becomes an important resource of the goth teen Lydia, who has moved into an enormous haunted house with her parents. She soon befriends the ghosts of the couple who used to live there, but their existence becomes threatened when one of her parents' friends performs a dark spell just for kicks. Even though Lydia doesn't trust the ghoul in the black and white striped suit, she knows that he is her only hope if she is going to save her friends from the callous foolishness of her parents' pal. Sweetness and spooky thrills abound.
