A thief has stolen a diamond called The Pink Panther from a museum in Lugash. Although his supervisor demotes and attempts to fire him, a French inspector named Jacques Clouseau is dispatched to help investigate the crime. He believes that the precious diamond was stolen by an old enemy of his, known as "The Phantom." As he looks for evidence, Clouseau is repeatedly targeted for assassination. Despite extensive bumbling, he slowly makes progress in the investigation. |
