Overview
After his entire family is killed by Union troops, Josey Wales joins a group of guerrilla Confederates and goes on the run. When the war is over, the rest of the group tries to surrender to Union troops, but Josey refuses. The group is executed and Josey must flee on his own. He joins a group of settlers and helps them attain peace with the local Native-Americans, Even though Josey has given up his violent ways, he is still a wanted man and must deal with the consequences.
