Overview
The show ran five years. With only two hours, the movie has to get to the point a lot quicker. Kimble comes home one night to find his wife being brutally murdered. He bravely confronts the assailant but fails to stop him. No one believes Kimble about the intruder, especially the odd bit about him having one arm. Unfortunately for Kimble, everything about the crime points to him. He’s arrested, tried and sentenced for the murder. En route to prison, a spectacular mishap gives him the chance to escape. Hot on his trail is dogged U.S. Marshall Sam Gerard, played with equal perfection by Tommy Lee Jones.
