Overview
Mike and Anna are two actors who fall in love while making "The French Lieutenant's Woman", a film set in the 19th century that tells the story of a couple that challenges Victorian conventions. Despite the fact that they are married, the two actors engage in an on-set affair. As they are drawn deeper into their roles, they find that the fictional love story of their screen characters is beginning to echo their real-life relationship.
