Overview
When salesman Gil loses his job as a salesman and his family deserts him, he falls deeper into his fixation with baseball, the San Fransisco Giants and their new $40 million center-fielder Bobby Rayburn. When Bobby falls into a slump, Gil offers to help him out and the two are successful. When Gil doesn't feel that Rayburn is thankful enough for the help, Gil steals Bobby's son, Sean. The only way Rayburn can get his son back is to have a good last game of the season.
