Overview
Patrick is a young boy whose father has just died. He is already without a mother, so he must go to New York to live with his aunt Mame, who lives extravagantly and has no interest in letting society dictate what she can do. Mame and Patrick quickly take to one another, and even though the Great Depression looms, they find no shortage of zany adventures. However, Patrick's father did not get along so well with his sister, and he stipulated in his will that she not be allowed to have total control over Patrick's upbringing. After having bonded so quickly, Patrick and Mame must find a way to stay within his father's restrictions and still nourish the friendship that they have begun to develop.
