Overview
Betty, a witch, has kidnapped her young paperboy, Timmy, and is holding him prisoner. She plans to roast him and serve him to her witch friends for dinner. Meanwhile, Timmy waits in his cell and stalls for time by reading three vignettes to Betty. In the first vignette, a crucified student brings a mummy to life to stalk his tormentors. In the second story, a “cat from hell” turns the tables on his hired assassin and kills him. In the third tale, a writer, who has lost his creativity, witnesses a bizarre killing by a gargoyle. The gargoyle swears the writer to secrecy and tells him that if he ever does reveal the murder, there will be horrendous consequences.
