Overview
Something mysterious is living within a lake in Lincoln County, Maine. The people of the surrounding area are unsure as to what it is. After a vicious attack in which a fisherman is ripped into two, Jack Wells, Sheriff Hank Keogh, and paleontologist Kelly Scott work together to investigate the case. Intrigue is immediately sparked. A relationship emerges. And bizarre disappearances and events begin to take unfold all around. Suddenly, the lake is the center of attention, believed to be the home of an enormous crocodile who happens to feed on those who get much too close. Determined to rid the lake of the monstrous crocodile, those involved must confront the inevitable in an attempt to get rid of the threat that the crocodile poses.
