David Helfgott has been a master pianist almost his entire life. Although he faced terrible events such as an abusive father, life in a concentration camp, and the eventual loss of his family, he is able to continue his studies. Eventually suffering from a break down as a result of all the loss he had suffered. As an older man, he picks up his old hobby of playing the piano, and eventually makes his way back into professional concerts. |
