This is the biographical story of the Guildford Four. These four people were convicted falsely of the bombings of a number of pubs in Guildford. It was actually the IRA who bombed the pubs. The story follows Gerry Conlon, who is pestered by the IRA because they believe he bombed the pubs when he was actually hiding away in London. Upon his return to Belfast to share a new fortune with his family, he is arrested by the British Army, who immediately fly him back to mainland UK for imprisonment. The story continues to follow Gerry through his personal and political growth. When a prison guard is is set on fire, Gerry puts him out. Gerry's story moves from a rebellious kid to an adult who understands politics on a deeper level.
