When Commandant Eric Lassard reaches the required retirement age, Captain Harris is beyond thrilled. Finally, it will be time for him to assume the position of Commandant of the Police Academy. First however, Lassard is to be given an award in Miami Beach and of course, all his favorite former students accompany him! Lassard, who is usually delightfully unaware of his surroundings, accidentally changes bags with a jewel thief at the airport in Miami. From there, it's one mishap after another as the thief tries to find the best way to get back his stolen valuables from an award winning police officer! |
