Overview
An alcoholic father and young P.I. accidentally unleash flesh-eating, genetically-mutated piranhas into public lakes and streams! After draining a pool of the thrashing, fishy contents, the unwitting pair are accosted by Dr. Hoak, the mad-man behind Operation Razorteeth. The doctor explains that the piranha are a mutant strain of gene-spliced terrors that were originally meant to aid in the Vietnam War. However, now the fish are headed downstream, into the stream of a children’s’ summer camp and nearby Lost River Lake Resort. Fearing the worst, the duo race to tell the camp director and owner of the resort, but are arrested for stirring up the public. Upon their release, they are shocked to hear how the piranha have wreaked havoc, killing numerous people with their razor-sharp hunger. Fear ensues when the couple also discover there are some people who consider the release of these piranha a blessing.
