Overview
Pinocchio is a wooden marionette created by a warmhearted woodworker named Geppetto. One night, Geppetto wishes on a star that his creation could be a real boy. The Blue Fairy grants his wish with stipulations. The stringless marionette must learn between right and wrong before the Blue Fairy grants him real flesh and bone. With an ecstatic Geppetto by his side, Pinocchio sets off to school to start his new life. However, Pinocchio is tricked repeatedly by Honest John and Gideon. Beginning to tell lies to cover his troubling adventures, the Blue Fairy only helps Pinocchio once as she warns him that he may not become a real boy unless he changes his ways. Pinocchio must find a way to be honest so he can become a real boy for a deserving Geppetto.
