Overview
Louis Creed moves his family into a huge, beautiful house right next to a highly-trafficked road. Not long after settling in, the family cat is run over and killed on the road. This leads the Creed's neighbor to show them a cemetery that local children have used to bury their pets. However, a section of the cemetery possesses an unnatural and evil power. Any animal buried there will return to life, but it will not be the same as before. The cat undergoes this process and returns as an evil and demonic version of its former self. The Creed's young son, Gage, is then struck down in the road and dies from his injuries. Louis then buries his son in the unholy ground, causing the child to return to life in a horrifying manner.
