Overview
Notorious is the biography of Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G. It follows "Biggie" from his childhood days as a low-level hustler on the streets of Brooklyn, through a short stint in prison, to the start of his rap career. A life that was entwined with drugs, guns, and many of the founding members of the East Coast rap scene, we also see that family, particularly his mother, played an important role in Biggie becoming the man he was. After a meteoric rise to fame, Biggie discovers that life at the top has many of the same trials and tribulations he experienced growing up. In an ironic twist, just as he was learning to cope with fame and fortune, his life was tragically cut short.
