Overview
After a financial scandal in the Texas State University football program leaves their former championship-winning team in tatters, a new coach is brought in to re-build the program. Without the boosters and their money, the coach finds that he must build his team from a pool of misfits instead of the talented athletes he had hoped for. Winning proves difficult, and even scoring points is tough for the hapless team. But as the team approaches it's final game of the season against the number 1 ranked Texas Bobcats, it seems they just might turn it around. Lead by former high school star quarterback Paul Blake, who left the game to run the family farm, Texas State fights to get it's first win of the season.
