Overview
Your favorite zoo animals are leaving Madagascar to fly back to New York, but they won't be in the sky for long. As a sequel to the blockbuster "Madagascar," join Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman as they find themselves dropped out of the sky and into Africa. Finding their airplane in pieces, the friends leave the penguins and chimps to repair the ride and set off in search of food and shelter. As they search the African plains, they discover Alex's roots and the complications that follow. This journey forces all the friends to look at their relationships in the context of the wild. Was it really a good idea to leave the sanctity of the New York Central Zoo? The friends must find their way through nature's tangled web of rules.
