Overview
Follow Army General Douglas MacArthur’s storied career in this biographical story. He was Supreme Allied Commander in the second World War and during the Korean War, he served as United Nations Commander. Starting in 1942, when President Roosevelt asked him to return from the Philippines, his storied career has many twists and turns. Sometimes he is the hero, as when he returns to the Philippines to overthrow Japanese rule. Other times he has difficulties, like his strained relationship with President Truman. Watch as MacArthur, an ordinary soldier, one day becomes a legend.
