Overview
When a gang corners Max in school, he deceives them by handing over a key that they can use in a burglary. However, the bullies soon learn that the key is useless, and they pursue the young boy in search of revenge. As they chase Max through "ghetto" streets, he escapes into a warehouse where his luck begins to improve. The gang continues to pursue him, and he runs into an abandoned portable stereo. It releases a very tall, rap-singing genie that will make three of his wishes come true. However, the genie must first convince Max that he is real.
