Overview
Independence is a gritty crime drama set in the seedy underbelly of a major city. It follows a certain Detective who reluctantly takes on a last-minute shift on Independence Day. Little does he know that his assignment will turn into a race against time to stop an unhinged EMT from wreaking havoc on the city. Armed with a stolen police uniform and gun, this vigilante has a hidden agenda that involves a bank vault full of dark secrets. This maniac targets the Knight's home to stage his version of a firework show, which proves to be far more deadly than any celebratory spectacle.
