Overview
Maren is a 17-year-old high school student who abruptly discovers that he is a special kind of vampire called an 'Eater.' Unlike a regular vampire, he is not "undead," does not thirst for blood and does not need to avoid sunlight. However, he has an insatiable urge to eat human flesh. After he discovers he is a 'cousin to vampires,' Maren is forced to go on the run after eating the fingers of a high school friend. Now alone and fleeing authorities, Maren meets other Eaters as he tries to make sense of his strange new life.
