Overview
When Los Angeles radio host Elvis Cooney comes in to work every day, he's used to running the show. As one of California's edgiest shock jocks, Cooney loves to prank his interns and draw the ire of callers everywhere. When Cooney gets a call-in one night from a mysterious man named "Gary," however, things are no laughing matter. Elvis learns on the air that daughter and his wife are currently being held hostage, and Gary coldly informs him that his family will die if he cuts off the line. A game of mental chess ensues, and surprises abound as Elvis tries to outwit Gary and save those he loves.
