Overview
Maika and her girlfriends are looking forward to summer in their remote village. Pangnirtung, Nunavut, is nestled on Baffin Island deep in the Canadian Arctic North. The girls have endless hours to create adventures in the land of the 24-hour sun. However, the pack's carefree adolescence is interrupted when villagers are found murdered. Aliens have arrived on the island, and they are hunting humans. Maika and her friends turn up the girl power to save the day. The girls lean on their knowledge of sci-fi horror movies to outsmart the aliens as they go to battle with makeshift weapons.
