Overview
"Father of the Bride" is a film about a father, Billy, that must come to terms with his daughter's plans to walk down the aisle. He attempts to manage multiple relationships both personally and professionally while helping his daughter prepare for her marriage. As the ultimate dadzilla, Billy has to learn how to let go of his daughter and accept that she's becoming a woman and is leaving the nest. Billy is traditional and stubborn, which creates plenty of conflicts within his family unit. His wife is also in the process of ending their marriage, but the engagement news is announced before Billy and his wife Ingrid can share the news of their divorce.
