Overview
Duke, Danny, David and Dayo, four Filipino brothers living in Pittsburg, California, are busy trying to plan a shotgun family wedding. Although the eldest brother, steps up to offer to pay for everything, it turns out that he doesn't actually have the money and must later turn to illegal cockfighting to raise enough. While preparing for the wedding, another brother attempts to rekindle an old flame in Manila, the third tries heal from wounds and finds love along the way and the fourth discovers more than he ever imagined from Filipino cuisine. In the days preceding the event, the brothers explore who they are individually and as Filipino Americans. They each seek love and how to keep and maintain it while also defining themself culturally, individually and as a family.
